Dr. Chinmoyee Deka is the founder of Tezpur Eye Hospital, established in 2007. She is a seasoned Ophthalmologist with professional and administrative experience in the field of eye care treatment, surgeries and hospital administration over a span of 20 years, including collaboration with the National Blindness Control Society of Government of India in various outreach welfare programs.
Oculoplastic and Phaco Surgeon
Dr. Angarag Bhagawati has a long term association with Tezpur Eye Hospital as Oculoplastic and Phaco Surgeon. Following his MBBS and MS (Opthalmology) from Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh.
M.S ophthalmology , vitreo-retinal surgeon
Dr. Sujit Addya is a medical graduate from Gauhati Medical College. He completed his MS (Ophthalmology) from RIO, Gauhati Medical College. He underwent WHO Zeiss Fellowship at LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad and short term Medical Fellowship at LVPEI, Vijaywada. He has successfully complete his long term surgical Vitreo-Retina Fellowship at ASG Eye Hospital, Guwahati. Dr. Addya is a highly experienced Retina surgeon and visits Tezpur Eye Hospital weekly for all kinds of Retina treatment.
Consultant Cataract Surgeon
Dr. Nirupam Bora completed his MBBS from Gauhati Medical College and thereafter, his Post-Graduation Diploma in Ophthalmology from the same Institute.
Tezpur Eye Hospital is equipped with the latest technology and paraphernalia, since it is our firm belief that there should be no compromise, when it comes to our patients’ vision. The hospital is equipped with 5 OPD’s and 2 Operation Theatres.
